Thanks to RussellSingh for the MoneyMaker template! I started with that and made a few mods to suit my tastes. Running it on auto with stock settings in market replay from 6\/3-6\/28 (0840-1100am cst) showed it was really good. It has some really big profit days (big to me anyway). I was just uncomfortable with the number of trades (fees) and the loss sizes posted during the first week of June. To reduce the number of trades I switched to a 32\/5 Renko brick. I noticed on NQ that the config could build some profit up and lose it later on so I experimented with the KillSwitch. I ended up with the KS settings below. It gives up a lot of potential profit, but I liked having smaller losing days (beginning of June worried me). To me it feels more comfortable sizing up to multiple NQ contracts on a prop account. For the Killswitch settings I looked at each day if it hit $500 or $700 profit before it started losing it’s gain and ended less positive or negative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

KillSwitch Trail Trigger = $700…to give a little space for unrealized run up with the bar size (500 stopped sooner than i liked).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

KillSwitch loss limit = $500… to limit big losing days, if it past that loss level odds are low it would come back. KillSwitch Trail drawdown = $300… close to a full reversal bar so an outside bar is less likely to stop KS trail. If anyone has ideas or suggestions for improvements feel free to share.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
